'Schrijven met Olaf' (Writing with Olaf') is written by Binnert de Beaufort, created for students at the AUAS to improve their writing skills. My assignment was to make this guide visually attractive. I designed the entire guide myself, think of the cover and the interior. In addition, I had to create illustrations that matched the text and its characters, so that the text comes to life. And let's be honest, how nice does the final result look?

Illustration tutorial
To promote the guide a little more and because there were many people who were enthusiastic about the illustrations, I was commissioned to make an illustration tutorial. In this video I show how I make an illustration of Olaf. I made the illustrations by taking a picture of someone, so that you can properly draw someone's posture. I drew this in the program Adobe Illustrator. The video was posted on the Instagram page of HvA Campus Creators, and you can also view it below.
